多摩川流域の都市における緑の保全に向けて，緑の質的な評価を行って保全上重要な植物群落を示すことを目的とした．府中市内から得られた1874の植生調査資料を植物社会学的な表操作法によって整理し，125の植物群落を識別した．これらの分布地点と，2003年に作成した府中市の１万分の１現存植生図をGISに入力し，各植生図凡例に含まれる植物群落を明らかにした．また，各群落が保持する在来種の種数，レッドリスト掲載種の種数，特定の群落に偏在する在来種数などを算出し，保全上の重要度を判定した．以上から，地域の植物相，植物群落，植生図凡例の関連を整理し，保全上の優先度が高い緑地とその分布を明らかにした．これらの成果について，すべての群落の種組成を明示した群落識別表と現存植生図を添付し，「府中市の植生－地域の自然環境と生物多様性の保全に向けて－」と題した冊子を印刷・刊行した． 本研究では，これまで別々に扱われていた希少植物，植物群落，植生図という情報を，ひとつの地域自然情報として統合することができた．近年の生物多様性保全に対する意識の高まりから，都市域の緑地保全に関しても緑の量だけでなく質的な保全への転換が図られている．本研究の成果は，土地利用が高度化した多摩川流域の都市域において，緑の質的な評価をおこなうための基礎資料を提供することができる．本研究の対象とした府中市でも，「生物多様性地域戦略」の策定が検討されており，植物群落の質的情報とその空間分布情報を整理した本成果は，有効な資料となることが期待される． We aimed to estimate conservation value of plant communities in Fuchu city, as an example of the urbanized area along the Tama River. By phytosociological tablation method, 125 plant communities were differentiated from 1874 vegetation stands. Distribution map of each plant community was overlapped to the actual vegetation map of Fuchu city, and the communities included in each legend of vegetation map were revealed. Number of native species, vulnerable species, and species that occurred only in particular community were used for estimation value of plant communities. From these results, plant communities which had high conservation priority and their distribution were shown. The result was published as “Vegetation of Fuchu” with the actual vegetation map and floristic composition table of all plant communities. As the result of this study, we could unify the data of flora, plant community, and vegetation map to single database of local natural resources. |
